What Is B-commerce?

B-commerce or Business-to-Business (B2B) commerce refers to transactions, interactions, and engagements between businesses rather than between businesses and individual consumers (B2C).

B2B commerce encompasses the exchange of goods, services, and information between companies, often through digital platforms or electronic means, such as websites, electronic data interchange (EDI), and specialized B2B marketplaces.

B-commerce plays a significant role in the global economy, as it facilitates the flow of products and services along the supply chain, from manufacturers to wholesalers, distributors, and retailers, before ultimately reaching the end consumer. It fosters collaboration, innovation, and efficiency across various industries and sectors.
