Checkout funnel insight
The Checkout Funnel Dashboard in the Insights section provides real-time analytics on all active, placed, ordered, and abandoned carts. You can also view data for a predefined time period. The dashboard allows filtering by a specific currency or viewing combined data for all currencies.

The checkout funnel
The checkout funnel tracks the progress of shopping carts through different stages:
- Active Carts: Customers are in the process of selecting products. The cart updates dynamically with every change to ensure real-time accuracy.
- Placed Carts: When a customer is ready to proceed to payment, the cart is locked to prevent further modifications.
- Ordered Carts: Once payment is completed, the cart transitions to the ordered state, and an official order is created.
- Abandoned Carts: If a cart remains inactive for one hour (configurable per cart), it is marked as abandoned.
These steps represent the checkout funnel, providing insights into customer behavior and potential revenue loss due to abandoned carts.
Adjusting time period and currency
To customize the time range for the data displayed, use the Time Selector in the toolbar. Options include several predefined time periods as well as a real-time view, which continuously updates and reflects the last three hours of activity.
If multiple currencies are available for the tenant, you can choose to filter data by a specific currency or view all currencies combined. When selecting a specific currency, additional insights, such as potential gross revenue, are displayed.
Activity list
The Activity List offers detailed information on individual carts, including:
- Products in the cart
- Gross amount
- Applied promotions
- Customer details
Hovering over a product reveals its name and SKU for quick reference.
This dashboard enables businesses to track and optimize the checkout process, improving conversion rates and reducing cart abandonment.
