Catalogue
The catalogue is the heart of Crystallize. This is where you create, structure, and manage all products and marketing content. Everything inside the catalogue is called an item.
Items are defined by shapes, which act as blueprints for the type of data and components an item can contain.
There are three main item types:
- Product
Products contain components on the item level as well as on product variant level. Each variant automatically gets core commerce fields: - Variant name
- Images
- SKU
- Stock per location
- Price per price variant
- Attributes
- Document
Documents are freeform items that use components defined by their shape. They are ideal for content such as blog posts, guides, or landing pages. - Folder
Folders act as containers. They share the same structure as documents, but can be nested hierarchically. Use folders to structure your product universe.
With the catalogue, you can mirror the full structure of your business, from products and categories to brand pages, stories, or even service agreements.
