Authorization
Authorization defines what a user can do after they have been authenticated. It controls access to actions and data within your tenant.
In Crystallize, authorization is managed through roles and permissions.
Users, Roles & Permissions
Each user is assigned to a role, and each role defines which parts of the system that user can access or modify.
This ensures that users only work within their intended areas—improving data protection, reducing errors, and helping you stay compliant with internal and external policies.
See the Users and Roles documentation for details on creating users, assigning roles, and managing permissions.

Users
Users represent the people who have access to your Crystallize tenant. Each user can be assigned one role, which defines their permissions and access level across Crystallize.
You can manage users from the Users section in Settings.
Roles & Permissions
Roles in Crystallize let you control access and responsibilities across your tenant. They define what users can read, create, update, or delete. Both in the App UI and through the API.
