Structural Component

A structural component groups and arranges components and pieces in powerful ways, allowing for ease of content modeling and polymorphic flexibility within your shapes.

Structural Components for Content Modeling

Use the links below to read about each structural component in detail:

Within the Crystallize App, adding a component to a piece or shape is as simple as drag and drop. Components can be reordered and deleted as necessary. Any such changes, once published, will affect every item based on that particular piece or shape.

Component IDs

Every structural component has an identifier that can be used to reference it within a programmatic context. The identifier may be different from the component's name. In the Crystallize App, you can hover your mouse over a component’s name to reveal its identifier. There’s also a button that will copy the identifier string to your clipboard.
